Description
The Tuscola Intermediate School District is seeking bids for a full-size van with a wheelchair lift. The van should have all standard options, two extra key fobs, a bright white exterior, and a rear motorized wheelchair lift. The van must be 100% ADA and NHTSA compliant and must be a QVM upfitter. The district is looking for a van that can accommodate 8 ambulatory passengers, including the driver, and 2 wheelchairs. The successful bidder will be required to provide a bid bond of 5% of the bid amount.
• The van must have a rear-mounted Braun Millennium 800-1000 lb. usable platform commercial use lift.
• The van must have 2 floor-mounted wheelchair stations with retractable lap shoulder belts and tie-downs.
• The van must be delivered by June 30, 2026.
• The van must meet or exceed M.I.O.S.H.A or O.S.H.A standards.
• The bidder must certify that it is not an Iran-linked business and disclose any familial relationship to the district.
