Description
The California Department of Motor Vehicles is seeking bids for interior and exterior painting and replacement of cove base at the Santa Barbara DMV Field Office. The project includes painting and finishing of all exterior and interior items and surfaces, replacement of cove base throughout the building, and replacement of missing or damaged ceiling tiles. The contractor will be responsible for field verifying all dimensions and existing site conditions pertinent to the project. The project is expected to be completed within 16 calendar days from the start date.
• The contractor must be certified by the State of California, Department of General Services (DGS), Office of Small Business and Disabled Veteran Enterprise Services (OSDS) as a Certified Small Business.
• The contractor must possess a valid C-33 contractor license issued by the California Department of Consumer Affairs, Contractors State License Board (CSLB).
• The contractor must adhere to the payment of prevailing wages as determined by the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) if the bidder's total bid amount exceeds $1,000.00.
• The contractor must provide proof of DIR registration for the bidder and all subcontractors that the bidder intends to utilize to perform work under the contract with their bid.
