Underground Utility Location Services for MSD

The City of Cincinnati is seeking a qualified contractor to provide Underground Utility Location Services for the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati. The services will include utility surveying, locating, ground-penetrating radar, and utility mapping in accordance with ASCE 38-02 standards. The contractor will be required to provide digital maps, field sketches, or electronic deliverables, and report findings, anomalies, and limitations. The contract term is expected to be 5 years with an optional 2-year extension. The total budget for the project is not to exceed $450,000. • The contractor will be evaluated based on experience and expertise, qualifications of key staff, quality assurance and control, understanding of the requirements, and technologies for utility marking. • The contractor will be required to submit a written response to the RFQ, including a cover letter, experience and expertise, qualifications of key staff, quality assurance and control, understanding of the requirements, and technologies for utility marking. • The contractor will be required to comply with the City's Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) program and submit a DEI 147 form. • The contractor will be required to register with the City's Vendor Self Service (VSS) system and be a Taxpayer in Good Standing with the City of Cincinnati.
