Douglas County is seeking a consultant to provide professional space planning and programming services for the Old Douglas County Courthouse. The consultant will perform a facility assessment, functional space analysis, stakeholder engagement, space programming, conceptual planning, and flexible space opportunities. The goal is to create a space that effectively accommodates several distinct work groups and functions while preserving the historic integrity of the building.
• The project includes a 36,000 square foot facility with 52 rooms.
• The consultant will develop a comprehensive space utilization strategy.
• The project requires expertise in space planning, programming, and historic preservation.
• The consultant will provide a final report summarizing findings, recommendations, and conceptual diagrams.
