REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) TO PROVIDE CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT AND INSPECTION SERVICES FOR THE WHEATLAND-OPUD Regional SEWER PIPELINE Project (CWSRF PROJECT NO. C-06-8753-110)

The City of Wheatland and Olivehurst Public Utilities District are seeking a consultant to provide construction management and inspection services for the Wheatland-OPUD Regional Sewer Pipeline Project. The project involves the construction of three wastewater conveyance contracts, including pipelines, pump stations, and force mains. The selected consultant will be responsible for providing on-site construction management and inspection, reviewing and processing project documentation, and ensuring compliance with contract documents and regulations. The project is expected to last approximately 870 days, with a budget of $5,000,000 for construction management and inspection services. Key aspects of the project include: • Construction of 12-inch, 18-inch, and 36-inch diameter pipelines • Construction of pump stations, including influent sewer modifications, storage tanks, and control buildings • Installation of force mains, including 18-inch and 24-inch diameter pipes • Trenchless crossings, including HDD and jack and bore crossings • Rehabilitation and force main connection at existing pump stations The ideal consultant will have extensive experience in construction management and inspection of large wastewater conveyance projects, with a strong understanding of contract documents, regulations, and industry standards.
