AH1 Gas Fired Air Heater (Update)

The United States Air Force is seeking a contractor to design, manufacture, test, and deliver a gas-fired air heater. The heater must be able to heat compressed air to a temperature of 1250 F and operate within a specific envelope of pressures, temperatures, and flows. The contractor must also provide documentation to show that the heater can satisfy the pressure drop limit at the worst-case velocities. The heater will be installed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, and the contractor will be responsible for field erection, assembly, and commissioning of the system.
