Description
The Kent Intermediate School District is seeking bids from qualified contractors to replace the existing greenhouse roofing glass with new polycarbonate twinwall roofing systems for three adjoining greenhouse gable roof structures. The project includes material procurement, demolition, installation, fastening, weatherproofing, and final cleanup. The contractor must employ staff competent and experienced with roof replacement and installation, and maintain a clean and safe worksite throughout the project. The project is expected to be completed between July 1, 2026, and August 21, 2026.
• The contractor must provide a 10-year manufacturer warranty for the polycarbonate panels and a minimum one-year workmanship warranty.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable OSHA standards and safety regulations.
• The contractor must protect existing structures, frames, mechanical systems, and landscaping.
• The contractor must maintain a clean and safe worksite throughout the project.
• The contractor must restrict access to construction areas as required to protect students, staff, and visitors.
