Description
The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka (FLCY) is seeking interested contractors to provide ship repair and maintenance services for the USS BLUE RIDGE (LCC-19). The work will be performed aboard the vessel at U.S. Naval Installation Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY), Yokosuka, Japan. The services required include machine staves for the lower bearing of the rudder stock, as well as other related tasks. The contractor will need to demonstrate their ability to perform the services described in the solicitation.
• The contractor will be required to perform an alignment check of the equipment before machining.
• The contractor will need to machine each stave listed in the solicitation.
• The contractor will need to submit reports listing the results of the requirements.
• The contractor will need to accomplish final alignment check of the equipment after machining.
• The contractor will need to provide engineering support.
