Description
The U.S. Government Publishing Office is seeking a qualified printer to produce 100 bound training manuals titled “Damage Control Red Book 207.” The contractor will receive PDF source files, perform pre‑flight checks, reduce the artwork to a 4 × 6 in format, print 104 double‑sided color pages on specified uncoated paper, laminate both sides of the covers, and finish with black plastic coil binding. Finished manuals must be shipped FOB destination to the USCGC MAPLE in Atlantic Beach, NC by the mandated delivery date, with a press‑quality PDF proof submitted beforehand.
• Reduce 8.5 × 11 in source files to 4 × 6 in without loss of information.
• Print on JCP‑specified cover (L20, 80 lb) and text (A60, 60 lb) stocks, with digital color inks.
• Laminate both sides of the front and back covers (5 mil gloss) and bind with a black coil on the left side.
