UHV optics manipulators

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking information from sources that may be capable of providing ultra-high vacuum (UHV) compatible optical mounts and motion controllers. The mounts should be compatible with 1" and 2" diameter optics and have piezo-driver remote actuators for pitch and yaw axes. The motion controllers should be able to control the mounts and have Ethernet, USB, or serial communication. NIST is looking for companies that can provide these products and services, including installation, training, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing similar products and services to the government or private sector. Some key points to consider include: • UHV compatibility with low-outgassing materials and a pressure range of 10-8 Torr or better • Optical mounts for 1" and 2" diameter optics • Piezo-driver remote actuators for pitch and yaw axes • Motion controllers with Ethernet, USB, or serial communication • Installation, training, and maintenance services • Experience in providing similar products and services to the government or private sector
