Military & Family Readiness Technician/Front Desk Administrator

The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide administrative assistance for the Transition Assistance Program (TAP) at the Airman and Family Readiness Center (A&FRC) at RAF Lakenheath, UK. The contractor will work directly with the TAP program manager and provide basic information on the TAP process to separating service members and their families. The contractor will also track TAP services, update internal records, and maintain data in the Air Force Family Integrated Results Statistical Tracking (AFFIRST) system. Some key points to consider: • The contractor will be responsible for referring customers to the TAP program manager for questions beyond the scope of the basic TAP process. • The contractor will work a full-time equivalent position, with normal working hours from 0730-1630, Monday to Friday. • The contractor will be provided with job-related equipment, including a desk, computer, and phone. • The contractor will not be required to work American or UK holidays, but can elect to work UK holidays when the center is open. • The contract is open to all vendors, and the US Government estimates the working days and hours for this position.
