Renewable Natural Gas Credits (Revenue)

The Regional Public Transportation Authority (Valley Metro) is seeking proposals from qualified firms or producers of renewable natural gas (RNG) to provide revenue shares of RNG production based on offtake consumption by Valley Metro. The contract will be for a period of up to 8 years, commencing on or about October 1, 2026. The selected contractor will be responsible for delivering RNG to Valley Metro's fueling station and registering the station to allow the use and reporting of RNG. • The contractor shall provide methodology for all activities associated with the registration of fueling stations and the securing of applicable RNG credits. • The contractor shall provide detailed information regarding the RNG production facility, the sustainability and reliability of production and delivery capabilities, and the method of RNG delivery to ensure continuous and compliant supply throughout the contract period. • The contractor shall provide evidence of prior experience in the delivery of Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) to transit agencies or comparable large-scale fleet operations to demonstrate proven capability and performance history.
