Request for Qualifications for Engineering Services for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Project(s)

The City of Magee, Mississippi, is seeking qualified firms or individuals to provide engineering services for the implementation of approved FY 2026 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project(s). The selected engineer will be responsible for preparing project cost estimates, preliminary design documents, and will provide all engineering services through project closeout. The scope of work includes preparing plans and specifications, distributing bid documents, assisting in bid opening, and performing construction inspection. The City encourages Minority-owned Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Woman-owned Business Enterprises (WBEs) to submit proposals. • The proposal must be submitted in a sealed envelope and marked with the language "Proposal for CDBG Engineering Services" • The proposal will be evaluated on the factors of Qualifications, Experience, and Capacity for Performance • The City reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals • The contract will be on a fixed price basis and will include the scope and extent of work
