CONSTRUCTION SERVICES - STRATHCONA HDD & UNDERGROUND ELECTRICAL UPGRADES PH 2 & PH 2A

The City of Vancouver is seeking a qualified prime contractor to deliver Strathcona Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) and underground electrical upgrades for Phases 2 and 2A. The work includes supplying and installing HDPE and RPVC conduits, junction boxes, conductors, excavation, utility coordination, traffic and pedestrian management, and full restoration of sidewalks and roadways. The contract will be awarded by mid‑October 2026 with work to be completed by November 2027. • Prime‑contractor responsibility for all labor, materials, equipment, permits, and subcontractors. • Required experience in HDD, trenchless construction, underground electrical conduit installation, and municipal right‑of‑way work. • Mandatory compliance with City fair‑wage, safety, environmental, and supplier‑code‑of‑conduct requirements. • Detailed schedule, experience references, subcontractor and supplier lists, and sustainability plans must be submitted.
