Description
The Town of Pulaski seeks a qualified contractor to restore and maintain historic headstones at its two municipal cemeteries, Oakwood and Pinehurst. The work includes cleaning, leveling, resetting, structural repair, and preservation of selected monuments, with the possibility of a yearly service agreement for ongoing maintenance.
• Restore and preserve 20 historic headstones (10 from each cemetery) using historically appropriate methods.
• Perform cleaning, structural repairs, resetting, and leveling of stone monuments.
• Provide a cost and methodology comparison for the selected sample stones to aid in evaluation.
• Potential for an annual service contract to continue restoration work beyond the initial scope.
