The Nevada Department of Education is seeking a non-competitive contract with Anlar, LLC to develop and deploy an automated data collection and validation system within the State of Nevada's Microsoft Azure cloud environment. This system will collect and validate Nevada school district-level school financial data, integrate it into a centralized data warehouse, and ensure interoperability with existing reporting tools and downstream systems. The contract will be funded entirely by the federal State Longitudinal Data Systems (SLDS) grant. Key features of the data collection and validation tool include a web-based validation tool, real-time field-level and record-level validation, and role-based access control.
• The tool will be configurable by NDE staff without heavy vendor dependence.
• The output of the data collection and validation tool will be consumable by Power BI, Tableau, and Sequel Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• The tool will support integration with Nevada P-20 to Workforce Research (NPWR) Data System and future integration with EDFacts Generate.
• The tool will create the input file for Nevada Report Card.
• The tool will include metadata tagging and schema documentation to support federal and state reporting.
