Description
The City of Perry is soliciting bids from qualified vendors for the purchase of one new Public Safety Command Post Trailer. The trailer must meet specific requirements, including an 8.5’ x 20’ enclosed command trailer with a flat/straight front design, silver .080 composite semi-screwless exterior, and interior height of at least 7’6”. The trailer will be used for command and communications operations and must be equipped with various features such as doors, exterior steps, power plug, TV mount, awning, and lighting. The vendor must provide detailed design documentation prior to construction and include a structural warranty, trailer manufacturer warranty, and component warranties.
• The trailer must have a tandem 3,500 lb brake axles and an extended tongue with ATP generator box.
• The interior must have a white metal walls and ceiling, commercial-grade insulation, and rubber coin flooring.
• The trailer must have a complete 120V/12V electrical system with a 50 AMP electrical service and distribution panel with breaker protection.
• The vendor must provide a properly sized, quiet-run generator suitable for full trailer electrical load.
• The trailer must be pre-configured for command and communications use with CAT6 and coaxial cabling routed to key workstation and monitor locations.
