POLICE UTILITY VEHICLE 2026 OR NEWER MODEL YEAR

The City of Bakersfield is requesting bids from experienced and reputable suppliers for providing Police Utility Vehicles, 2026 or newer model year, in accordance with the specifications included herein. The City intends to purchase 29 units immediately and may purchase additional units at the same per unit cost for a period of 12 months after acceptance of the bid. Key features of the vehicle include a 3.3L V6 Direct Injection Hybrid Engine, all-wheel drive, and a range of police-specific equipment and accessories. The successful bidder will be required to provide a written warranty for a period of not less than 3 years from the date the unit or units are placed in service. • The vehicle must meet the minimum specifications outlined in the bid document, including engine, transmission, rear axle, brakes, suspension, and steering requirements. • The vehicle must be equipped with a range of police-specific equipment and accessories, including front and rear air conditioning, heavy-duty floor mats, and a police radio noise suppression package. • The successful bidder must provide operational and maintenance training for City employees within one week of delivery. • The vehicle must be delivered to the City of Bakersfield within 10 days of receipt of the purchase order date.
