Description
The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) New York District is seeking a contract to provide maintenance services for the Syncrolift Shiplift S-5297. The contractor will be responsible for providing all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials to accomplish the maintenance tasks in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price contract, and travel costs should be estimated and included in the proposed price for the work.
Some key points to note include:
• The contractor will need to coordinate with Warehouse and Shop Personnel for storage of items necessary for the maintenance work.
• The decking is secured with Lag Bolts to the deck support structure.
• Replacement items that are damaged outside of scheduled maintenance and outside any manufacturer warranty will be replaced as Government-furnished equipment (GFE).
• Forklifts and cranes can be made available for support equipment, but any additional support equipment required will need to be coordinated prior to service visits.
