Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) seeks a qualified contractor to provide full‑service calibration, repair, and parts replacement for its fleet of portable gas monitors on an as‑needed basis. The contractor must be an authorized dealer for RKI Instruments, maintain a primary business location within 50 mi of Pomona, CA, and perform all work at its own facility, handling instrument drop‑offs and returns. The contract is a three‑year, multi‑award agreement with payment based on actual services rendered, parts costs, and labor rates.
• Provide calibration, sensor and filter replacement, and electrical repairs for RKI GX‑2012, GX‑2009, and 724‑012 Eagle 2 monitors.
• Supply all labor, tools, equipment, parts, supplies, disposal, and incidentals; issue certification stickers and paperwork for each calibrated unit.
• Must hold a current RKI Authorized Dealer Certificate, use factory‑trained technicians, and comply with extensive California‑state certifications (civil‑rights, Darfur, sanctions, organic‑waste recycling, data security, etc.).
