Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to purchase five 53-foot steel enclosed trailers for storage of supplies and equipment. The trailers must be fully enclosed, weather-resistant, and have operational wheels, landing gear, and hitch assemblies. The contractor shall deliver the trailers to various VA sites in Florida within 30 days of receipt of order. The contract is a one-time Firm-Fixed-Price supply purchase, and the trailers will become Government property upon acceptance.
• The trailers must be 53 feet in length, with a standard highway-legal width and height.
• The trailers must have a heavy-duty steel or treated hardwood floor, and be equipped with fully operational wheels and landing gear.
• The trailers must have a fully enclosed, rigid, leak-proof roof, and be capable of being secured with a VA-owned padlock.
• The contractor must provide a standard manufacturer's warranty covering structural integrity and workmanship.
