The City of Merced is seeking qualified contractors to apply a three‑layer rubberized asphalt cape seal along R Street between Childs Avenue and 13th Street, including associated concrete work, curb & gutter replacement, alley driveway reconstruction, and the provision of two portable changeable message signs. The bid package also covers demolition of existing curb ramps, installation of new ADA‑compliant curb ramps, and required permitting, water‑pollution control, and restoration tasks. Bidders must submit a sealed bid by 2 pm on October 20, 2026 and provide a bid security equal to 10 % of their total bid price.
