Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Regional Procurement Office East (RPOE), Network Contracting Office 4 (NCO 4) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Teleflex LLC for the preventative maintenance and repairs of four Teleflex AC3 Series Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps at the Pittsburgh VA Medical Center. The contractor will provide full service and maintenance, including telephone support and onsite support, in accordance with the requirements stated in the statement of work. The contract will be for a base year plus two options. The contractor must have an established business with a fully qualified Field Service Engineer (FSE) and a backup FSE. The FSE(s) must have completed a formalized training program for the equipment and have a minimum of two years of experience in scheduled and unscheduled preventive and remedial maintenance on similar equipment.
• The contractor will provide all required services within normal business hours (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET) excluding holidays.
• The contractor will provide 24/7 technical telephone support.
• The contractor will perform preventative maintenance (PM) service to ensure that the equipment performs in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.
• The contractor will provide complete and original documentation indicating PM work performed.
• The contractor will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining all necessary operational and technical documentation for the equipment.
