Digital Polymerase Chain Reaction (dPCR) Instrument

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is seeking a quotation for the procurement and delivery of one digital polymerase chain reaction (dPCR) instrument. The instrument should rely on digital PCR technology for target quantification, be capable of running at least 16 samples per run, have a minimum of four optical channels to allow for multiplexing, and come complete with analysis software. The equipment will replace an obsolete real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) instrument and will be used to support expanding priorities aimed at improving farmer productivity and profitability. • The instrument should be capable of running at least 16 samples per run. • The instrument should have a minimum of four optical channels to allow for multiplexing. • The system should come complete with analysis software. • The equipment will be used to support expanding priorities aimed at improving farmer productivity and profitability. • The equipment will be delivered to the USDA-ARS, Coastal Plains Soil, Water & Plant Research Center in Florence, SC.
