Description
The City of Tulsa is seeking a professional artist or artistic team to design, fabricate, deliver, and install a single iconic public‑art piece that will serve as a Route 66 roadside attraction. The work must fit a 1,000 sq ft hillside site, not exceed 21 ft in height, be durable, graffiti‑resistant, and include illumination or non‑mechanized movement. The artist will collaborate with an Oklahoma‑licensed engineer (costs funded by the City) for structural and foundation design, but engineering work is not part of the bid. The $250,000 fixed‑fee budget covers all design, fabrication, installation, permits, insurance, and contingency. The contract is for an initial one‑year term with up to four optional one‑year renewals.
