Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source DMRTI Spring Branch Facility

The Defense Medical Readiness Training Institute (DMRTI) is seeking to award a sole source contract for the supply and delivery of cadaver specimens to support the Emergency War Surgical Course (EWSC) at the Spring Branch Facility. The contract also includes the rental of the facility for the duration of the training. The cadaver vendor must provide fresh frozen cadavers, perform required laboratory testing, and handle delivery, setup, and removal of cadavers. The vendor must also provide serology and authorization documentation at least five days prior to tissue arrival. • The contract will be Firm-Fixed Price. • The procurement will be made utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Authority 41 U.S.C. 190 - FAR 6.103-1. • The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 621991 with the size standard of $35M. • The Federal Supply Code (FSC)/Product Service Code (PSC) 6515, procurement is Medical & Surgical Instruments and Supplies.
