Hauling of Screenings of HLCSD

The County of Ontario is seeking a qualified vendor to provide roll‑off container haulage and disposal of industrial “screenings” generated at the Honeoye Lake Consolidated Sewer District wastewater treatment plant. The contractor must supply, transport, and dispose of the screenings at the Ontario County Landfill (or an alternate NYS‑DEC‑permitted landfill with proper permits), maintain and repaint containers annually, conduct site clean‑up after each haul, and perform seasonal dumpster cleaning with EPA‑approved insecticide. Service hours are limited to weekdays, and the County will award the contract to the lowest responsive bid after a 45‑day evaluation period. • Remove and haul 30‑36 roll‑off “screenings” loads per year, with a minimum 48‑hour notice for each haul. • Provide compliant roll‑off containers, repaint annually, and clean containers (June 1–Sept 30) using EPA‑approved insecticide. • Submit monthly electronic Excel reports with disposal quantities and maintain extensive insurance, bonding, and certification requirements.
