Structured Cabling Installation-County Facilities

The Boone County Schools is seeking a qualified vendor to provide structured cabling installation services at district facilities. The selected vendor will be responsible for furnishing materials, labor, installation, termination, labeling, and certification for horizontal copper cabling and related infrastructure. The scope of work includes the installation of 59 Cat6A runs and 68 Cat6 runs, as well as the provision of termination hardware, patch panels, patch cables, surface mount boxes or wall plates, rack integration, cable management, and testing and certification. • The vendor must comply with the Boone County Schools Wiring Guidelines and Expectations. • The vendor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the project. • The vendor must ensure that all cabling is Cat6 or Cat6A, with a maximum run length of 300 feet, and that all cable is plenum rated. • The vendor must provide certification reports verifying category compliance, signal integrity, and no defects or signal loss. • The vendor must have experience installing structured cabling systems, the ability to work in K-12 environments, proper licensing and insurance, and references from similar projects.
