Description
The State of California’s Department of Technology is seeking a vendor to renew and co‑term the existing Ciena hardware and software support contracts. The scope includes warranty repairs, next‑business‑day spares, remote diagnostics, software updates, and SaaS licensing for a defined list of Ciena network equipment, with deliveries to a Sacramento site and compliance with numerous state and federal regulations (FTI, GenAI disclosure, recycled‑content, etc.).
• Provide full‑cycle hardware warranty, repair, and spare parts services for Ciena product families (3942, 5142, 5160, 5170, 5171, 6500, 8700).
• Deliver SaaS licenses, remote diagnostics, and 24/7 telephone support, adhering to security and data‑protection requirements.
• Submit a complete, signed electronic bid by 08‑20‑2026, including all mandatory attachments and certifications; the award will be based on lowest evaluated cost after applicable SB/DVBE/TACPA preferences.
