The Town of Middleton is seeking proposals for the disposition of a 1.00-acre property located at 65 North Main Street, formerly used as a police station. The property is being sold "as is" and the successful proposer will be responsible for obtaining any necessary permits and approvals. The town is looking for a proposal that provides the highest tax revenue, least impact on town services, and compliance with applicable zoning and town bylaws. Proposers must have experience in property development, be in good financial standing, and have cash or pre-approval for full funding of the purchase price.
• The property is zoned for Business (B) use along the street and Village Residential (R-2) in the rear.
• The property has soil and/or ground contamination that has migrated from the adjacent car dealership property.
• The town will conduct a site visit on Wednesday, October 15th, 2025 at 12:00pm noon.
• Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope/package and received by the Town Administrator's Office by Wednesday, November 12th, 2025 at 12:00pm noon.
• The town reserves the right to reject any and all proposals that do not meet the submission requirements or evaluation criteria.
