Medi-Cal Transition Readiness Consultant Services

The County of San Mateo’s Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (BHRS) is seeking a qualified consultant to lead its readiness effort for the upcoming Medi‑Cal Fee‑for‑Service transition effective January 1 2027. The consultant will act as project leader, facilitator, subject‑matter advisor, and implementation resource, developing governance structures, interim guidance, financial sustainability analyses, coverage‑retention workflows, and continuity‑of‑care protocols. Work is front‑loaded in the first three months (Oct‑Dec 2026) with post‑launch monitoring through June 2027.
