Large Aircraft Infra-Red Counter Measures (LAIRCM) System Upgrades

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a sole source contract to Northrop Grumman for software solution upgrades on the Configurable Log Reader (CLR) compatible with the P-8A Poseidon Large Aircraft Infra-Red Counter Measures (LAIRCM) system. The contract aims to deliver system software upgrades integrated onto the CLR. • The contract is for a software solution upgrade on the CLR. • The upgrade must be compatible with the P-8A Poseidon LAIRCM system. • Northrop Grumman is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the CLR and LAIRCM System. • The contract will be awarded in the fourth quarter of Government Fiscal Year (FY) 2026, with deliveries completing in FY27.
