Cider Mill Pump Station Force Main Replacement

The Town of Glastonbury is seeking bids to perform the removal and replacement of an existing 4” cast iron force main of approximately 1,000± L.F. with a 4” HDPE SDR11 Thermal Butt Fused force main located on Cider Mill Road in Glastonbury. The project also includes furnishing, installing and maintaining a temporary sanitary sewer bypass and pavement restoration. • The bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid. • The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and labor and material payment bonds in the full amount of the agreed contract price. • The project involves the use of HDPE SDR11 Thermal Butt Fused force main and requires the removal and replacement of the existing cast iron force main. • The project also requires the furnishing, installing and maintaining of a temporary sanitary sewer bypass and pavement restoration.
