AWTS SWITCH MODULE

The U.S. Navy intends to go sole source to Eclypse International Corporation for the AWTS SWITCH MODULE requirement. Eclypse International Corporation is the original designer, developer, and manufacturer of the module, and they possess the requisite knowledge, experience, and technical expertise to provide the required specifications. The Government cannot provide the necessary technical details to another contractor, and awarding to another source would result in unacceptable delays. • The requirement is for the AWTS SWITCH MODULE. • Eclypse International Corporation is the only known qualified source capable of satisfying the U.S. Navy's specific requirements. • The technical drawing package for these items was designed by and is currently maintained solely by Eclypse International Corporation. • Award to another source would require reverse engineering and re-qualifying equipment, resulting in a 24-month delay.
