Description
The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking competitive quotes for snow removal services on the Wisconsin side of the Mississippi River at Wisconsin 82 in Crawford County, WI. The contract will cover the 2025-26 and 2026-27 seasons with an option for renewal for the 2027-28 season. The services will include snow removal, treatment, and off-site hauling for snowfall events of 1-3", 4-7", and 8" or higher. The contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder whose submission is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, considering cost and other factors.
• The contract will require the successful contractor to maintain insurance coverage(s) of the type and in the amounts set forth in the Standard Terms and Conditions.
• The Iowa DOT will process all payments to the awarded contractor as per the payment terms and conditions indicated in the solicitation.
• The State of Wisconsin will be an indemnitee on this project.
• The contractor must be registered with the Division of Labor in the Iowa Department of Workforce Development.
• The contractor must provide per event pricing for snow removal for a 1-3" snowfall event, a 4-7" snowfall event, and an 8+" snowfall event.
• The event pricing must be all-inclusive, including removal, treating, and hauling of snow.
