Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research to identify capable businesses to provide calibration and maintenance services for audiology equipment at the Washington D.C. VA Medical Center. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform service and maintenance. The contractor must provide certifications of calibrations for each unit with the serial number of the unit on the calibration certificate. The contractor must also provide proof of training and credentials to appropriately complete this work.
Some key points to consider:
• The contractor must provide preventative maintenance of the equipment according to manufacturer’s recommendations/procedures.
• The contractor must provide all parts and materials to complete the maintenance.
• The contractor must use OEM certified parts and service.
• The contractor must complete available updates to the software at the discretion of Biomedical Engineering.
• The contractor must respond to trouble phone calls within thirty minutes.
• The contractor must report any issues with disclosed or unsecure patient health information.
