Description
The City of Springfield is seeking a contractor to replace expansion joints, repair bridge/deck decking as needed, install new expansion joints, and apply an epoxy overlay on a bridge deck in the Southwest District. The work must comply with Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction and the City’s own General Conditions & Technical Specifications. The contract will be awarded on a competitive bid basis, with a 365‑day performance period and liquidated‑damage penalties of $1,225 per day for overruns. Bidders must submit a 5 % bid guarantee and meet all standard bonding and certification requirements.
• Remove existing expansion joints and replace with new joints.
