Budget estimate

$2,000,000 – $5,000,000

The RFB does not disclose a definitive contract value; however, a 69 kV transmission line crossing typically involves extensive civil works, steel pole fabrication, and high‑voltage electrical equipment. Based on comparable utility transmission projects, the total contract is likely in the low‑to‑mid‑single‑digit millions of dollars. Assuming material, labor, mobilization, and contingency (20 % of base) the range is estimated between $2 million and $5 million. Factors influencing the final amount include the length of the crossing, site conditions, existing infrastructure removal, and any TxDOT‑specific design requirements.
