Travis AFB - Peak Airmen Ministry Center Coordinator

The US Air Force is seeking a coordinator for The Peak Airmen Ministry Center at Travis Air Force Base, California. The coordinator will serve as a resource person, advisor, and coordinator of religious and fellowship programs. They will be responsible for creating an environment that fosters spiritual and character development, authentic community, leadership development, and service to others. The coordinator will work with the Airmen Leadership Team to develop and implement programs, and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of The Peak. Some key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing programs to achieve the mission of The Peak • Recruiting, training, and mentoring the Airmen Leadership Team • Coordinating all advertisements, activities, and requests through The Peak Chaplain and/or Religious Affairs Airmen • Ensuring The Peak is staffed with volunteers and is open during normal operating hours • Preparing non-alcoholic beverages to customer satisfaction • Maintaining a safe and healthful working environment The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in singles ministry, an associate's degree or higher in ministerial studies, and excellent interpersonal skills.
