Description
The City of Worcester is seeking a consultant to manage its pharmacy benefit program and provide related human‑resources advisory services for a one‑year term, with two optional renewal years at the City’s discretion. The consultant will develop and issue a new PBM RFP, evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate contracts, and provide ongoing oversight, performance monitoring, and annual rate‑renewal assistance. The work includes strategic advising, industry education, data analysis, and vendor management throughout the contract period.
• Develop and issue the PBM Request for Proposals, answer vendor questions, and evaluate submissions.
• Conduct vendor interviews, negotiate terms, and assist with implementation of the selected PBM.
• Provide continuous oversight, quarterly performance reviews, monthly check‑ins, and annual rate‑renewal support for the City’s self‑funded health plan.
