Description
The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center is requesting quotations for the procurement of outboard stern tubes. The tubes must meet specific requirements, including being manufactured to MIL-DTL-17901C, Class II, with a synthetic rubber facing and a cast non-ferrous metal housing. The bearings must be manufactured to dimensions shown on NAVSEA drawing 803-1385664, piece 19, table VII, for an 11 1/2" shaft sleeve diameter. The contractor must provide a full data package, including drawings, literature, and any qualifications that can be verified to be in accordance with the military specification. The packaging and marking of the items must be in accordance with MIL-STD-2073-1E and MIL-STD-129R.
