Description
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is seeking a contractor to provide janitorial services for the Department of Vehicle Regulation Real ID Office in Burlington, KY. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, with optional renewals for up to 4 additional years. The contractor will be responsible for providing janitorial services, including cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the office building and surrounding areas. The contractor must also provide all necessary equipment and supplies, and ensure that all employees are at least 18 years old and have undergone a background check.
* Key services include: daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual cleaning tasks
* The office building is approximately 5,211 sq. ft. and has 25 employees, with an estimated 100-200 visitors daily
* The contractor must be able to provide services 5 nights per week, Monday through Friday or Sunday through Thursday, outside normal business hours
* The contractor must also be able to provide semi-annual and annual deep cleaning services, including strip, seal, and wax of all tile or linoleum floors, and cleaning of all carpets using the extraction method
