Request for Qualifications – Architects for Allied Health and Sciences Building Project

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff is seeking qualified architects to provide design services for a new Allied Health and Science building. The project involves designing a stand-alone facility with approximately 1.2 acres of land, including utility and site work, and a new 17-space parking lot. The building will be located on the main campus in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. The total project cost is estimated at $15 million, and the design and construction teams are expected to work together to deliver the project in a timely and cost-effective manner. The key requirements for the project include: • Proof of licensure or eligibility in the State of Arkansas • Organization chart for the design team and consultants • Specific project experience with integrating mechanical systems into existing buildings • Experience with institutional-quality interior design and architecture • Current office size, personnel description, and projected workload • Experience with sustainable rating systems and fully commissioned projects • Proof of professional liability insurance coverage • List of projects currently under contract with state agencies or educational facilities • Statement of diversity in the workforce, if applicable • Certificate of women-owned or minority-owned business, if applicable
