Request for Proposal for Concessions Building Renovation at Peterson Park

The City of Lakeland is seeking a qualified and experienced State Certified Licensed General Contractor (CGC) or Building Contractor (CBC) to perform the Concessions Building Renovation Project at Peterson Park. The project includes the renovation of the men's and women's restrooms, construction of a family toilet room and storage closet, and renovation of the concession's kitchen and storage area. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, equipment, temporary protection, tools, and materials necessary to complete the work in accordance with the project specifications, construction documents, good construction practices, and overall requirements. • The contractor must have experience with projects of similar size, scope, and complexity, particularly in public-sector construction/renovation projects involving occupied or operational facilities. • The contractor must provide a detailed schedule of values with a cost breakdown of construction labor and materials. • The contractor must submit a preliminary phasing and schedule plan that clearly indicates the number of calendar days required to complete the work and the estimated completion date, assuming a project start date of June 1, 2026. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and ordinances related to safety and health, and must provide a certificate of existing insurance coverage as proof of insurability.
