Description
The Laurens Commission of Public Works is seeking a contractor to replace aging steel water mains with new polyethylene (PE) pipe throughout Laurens County. The scope includes installing roughly 2,800 feet of 4‑inch PE pipe, about 33,500 feet of 2‑inch PE pipe, and refurbishing or replacing approximately 237 existing service connections. Work will be performed under an “Other” delivery method and requires submission of a single bid copy by the stated deadline.
• Replace steel mains with 4" and 2" PE pipe (≈36,300 total feet).
• Modify or replace ~237 service connections as detailed in contract documents.
• Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and permitting needed for the gas pipeline upgrade.
• Submit one bid copy by October 29, 2026, 11:00 am.
