Description
The City of Salina is seeking a qualified engineering firm to design the replacement of three deteriorated culverts on Fairdale Road. The consultant will evaluate alternative designs, conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses (including downstream impacts from a recent box‑culvert replacement), prepare construction‑ready drawings and specifications, and facilitate easement acquisition and utility coordination. The scope also covers potential retaining‑wall modifications and the preparation of related legal documents.
• Perform technical, hydraulic, and environmental evaluation of replacement options for three 28‑in × 40‑in CMP culverts.
• Update and verify hydrologic/hydraulic analyses, incorporating downstream box‑culvert data.
• Deliver complete design package (drawings, specs) and assist with easement drafting, utility relocation, and any necessary retaining‑wall work.
