Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) is seeking a contractor to refurbish the wastewater lift station at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Cumberland, Maryland. The project includes demolition and removal of existing equipment, installation of new lift station equipment, electrical upgrades, controls modernization, testing, commissioning, and staff training. The contractor must ensure continuous sewage system operation and comply with federal, state, and local regulations. The scope of work includes removal and disposal of existing equipment, installation of new control panels, level-sensing systems, pumps, and spare pumps, as well as electrical and controls upgrades. The contractor must also provide training to facility maintenance staff and deliver all necessary documentation, including as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and warranties.
