Invitation to Bid for Miscellaneous Non Ferrous Scrap Metals (Roll-Offs) at Naval Base San Diego

The Navy Region Southwest Qualified Recycling Program (NRSW QRP) is issuing an invitation to bid on the sale of Miscellaneous Non-Ferrous Metals in Roll-Offs located at Naval Base San Diego. The invitation includes six lots of different materials, and bidders can submit their bids for one or more lots. The buyer will be responsible for removing the material within 15 business days of the award and must pay for the material prior to transfer. The NRSW QRP reserves the right to award across lots to the single bidder with the highest cumulative bid. • The lots include Irony Aluminum, Irony Stainless Steel, Mixed Copper Breakage, Stainless Steel, Painted Aluminum, and Irony Cast Aluminum. • The estimated amounts of each material are provided, and the buyer will be invoiced for any additional material up to 20% above the advertised estimate. • The buyer must inspect the materials and understand any quality or condition factors that could affect their bid. • The NRSW QRP will impose an administrative charge per week for late payments, dishonored checks, failure to pickup awarded material, or failure to return NRSW QRP property.
