TFRD Remounts Project

The City of Toledo Fire and Rescue Department is seeking a vendor to provide complete remounts for two (2) ambulances, meeting or exceeding the detailed specifications and drawings supplied. The winning contractor must take possession of the vehicles within seven (7) days of receiving a purchase order and deliver the fully re‑mounted ambulances ready for service. This is a straightforward, short‑term automotive‑repair contract focused on specialized ambulance equipment. • Scope: Remove existing ambulance equipment and install new, fully specified remounts on two ambulances. • Timeline: Possession required within 7 days of PO issuance; work to be completed promptly thereafter. • Requirements: Bid submission via PlanetBids, inclusion of all mandated documents (project paperwork, signed contract, child‑support affidavit, insurance certificate, workers’ compensation, bid guaranty). • Bonds/Guaranty: 5 % bid bond or certified check (minimum $40, maximum $1,800 for bids ≤ $75k; 5 % up to $200k for larger bids). • Location: Work to be performed at the vendor’s facilities; the City will take possession of the completed ambulances at the vendor’s address.
