Fire - Ambulance Remount #2

The City of Toledo Fire and Rescue Department is seeking a qualified vendor to supply two (2) new ambulance chassis (2027 International/Navistar MV607 SBA LP or approved equivalent) and to perform complete remount and refurbishment of the patient‑care modules onto the new chassis. The work includes removal of existing modules, inspection, refurbishment, re‑installation, exterior repainting and graphics, interior upgrades (flooring, cabinetry, seating, HVAC, electrical), integration of emergency lighting, sirens, communications equipment, and compliance testing (CAAS/AMD). The winning bidder must take possession of the two completed ambulances within seven (7) days of issuance of the purchase order and provide a minimum one‑year warranty on all goods and services. The contract is a fixed‑price, one‑year agreement with options for renewal to be negotiated separately. • Supply and install two fully‑remounted 2027 International/Navistar MV607 SBA LP ambulance chassis. • Perform complete interior and exterior refurbishment, including graphics, lighting, HVAC, electrical, and medical equipment integration. • Deliver, test, and obtain City acceptance within 7 days of PO issuance; provide ≥ 1‑year warranty on all work. • Submit electronic bid via PlanetBids with required bid guaranty (5 % of bid), project paperwork, signed contract, and insurance certifications. • Evaluation based on “lowest and best” price, past performance, MBE/WBE participation, and local‑preference scoring.
